Romsey Town Youth FC (formerly Tadburn YFC)  celebrated the close of the 2010-11 season by holding a Charity football match between a team comprising the Club's managers and coaches vs Tadburn U16s. Many of the managers/coaches had to blow the cobwebs from their boots for this long awaited clash, eager to play under the direction of their manager for the day, Wayne Mew of Romsey Town FC. The match, which took place at the sports field in Sherfield English,  was refereed by Ashley Blakely, Year 10, who did a great job of keeping the two teams in check as they went into battle. Ultimately, the weather may have been a little too warm for the less young of the two teams as they were soundly beaten by the excellent U16 team led by manager Dave Twynham. Although the managers and coaches hobbled away with a slightly dented pride and sore limbs,  players and spectators alike thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon which was in aid of Disability in Football. The Club would like to thank Ian Lucas and the Sherfield English RP committee for allowing Romsey Town Youth the use of their facilities.
